It is generally accepted that a diet of large amounts of vegetables, fruits and other plant products lowers the chances of cancer development. It inhibits one or more stages of skin caricinogenesis, that is, initiation and progression. There are various natural ingredients which a person should avoid or make use for the betterment of their skin which are as follow:-

Many years back, the Avocado oil was used in Africa for skin treatment. This therapeutic oil is rich in vitamins that are Vitamin A, B1, B2, B5, D and E. It also contains proteins, lecithin, fatty acids, minerals, etc.It is a useful penetrating nutrient for eczema and dry skin.

Avocado oil is also known to have regenerating and healing qualities. Avocado oil is used in creams, lotions, balms, and hair oils. If it is 10 percent diluted then it is used for massage oils.

Borage oil is one of the richest sources of gamma –linolenic acid and it also contains vitamins and minerals necessary for human skin. It is used in cosmetic products, nowadays for nourishing and hydrating the skin. It is also used in facial blends for maturing skin or in blends for damaged skin where generation of new skin cells is needed.

Baobab oil is derived from the seeds of the barbed tree, which is grown in eastern and southern Africa. It provides impressive moisturizing benefits to the skin and hair. It absorbs quickly, improves elasticity encourage regeneration of skin cells and does not clog the pores. It is an excellent ingredient in making formulations for eczema and psoriasis.

Camelina oil is also known as Gold of Pleasure and is obtained from the plant Camelina sativa. Camelina oil is high in linolenic and alinolenic acid. It produces a very beneficial effect on the skin and gives the skin elasticity

The camelina oil also provides a protective coating for hair follicles.Carrot, also known as beta-carotene, is rich in Vitamins E and A and it helps to heal chapped, dry and cracked skin. The oil balances the moisture in the skin and it also conditions the hair.

Castor: This oil is rich in fatty acids and it also soothes and lubricates the skin. It is mainly used in hair oils, balms and other thick emulsions for the hair and skin. The castor oil also acts as humectant’s and thus attracts the moisture to the skin.

Coconut oil is refined, deodorized and is extracted from dried coconuts. The coconut oil is a satisfying carrier for itchy, dry and sensitive skin. It does not clog the pores and penetrates very easily into the skin. This light and non-greasy oil is also used in balms and soap making.
