SAVOURI POURAGE

Ingredients

Daliya- 1cup
butter - 2tbsp
peas- 1 cup boiled
carots- 1, 2 small (chopped and boiled)
capsicum- 1 finely chopped
cauliflower- 2 (chopped and boiled)
salt- 2 1/2tsp
american corn- 1cup
black pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
white pepper powder- 1/4 tsp
jyfer powder- 2pinches
dal chini powder- 2pinches

Decoration- amul processed cheese

Method

  • Wash daliya nicely and put it in a pressure cooker.
  • Add 5-6 cups of water.
  • Give 1 whistle on high flame.
  • Sim the gas and give 2-3 whistles more.
  • Cool the pressue cooker and see if daliya is done.
  • Cool it till the side centre bubbles dont come or it becomes slightly thick.
  • In a pan, add butter and lightly fry the vegetables. Sortie it and put it in daliya. Then put rest of the ingredients.

    U can also put processed cheese over daliya while serving.
