There are a few tricks that can create the illusion of having bigger eyes 
It is all in your technical know-how of shading and shaping - dark to recede and light to bring forth. Shading and highlighting work to enhance your eye shape, by balancing the use of light and dark colors you wear with the rest of your makeup, you can give the illusion of having bigger eyes! The main trick for small eyes is to focus on keeping your eye open ? so not too much eye makeup, and go easy on colors that are too dark, as both of these will close the eye, making it look smaller. Once you know the basics of how to enhance your small eyes, you can really play. Start with a few of the makeup tricks below to help your eyes look bigger, and go from there!
Make Eyes Look Bigger
Apply a light shade of eye shadow to the crease of the upper lid.
Curl eyelashes with an eyelash curler.
Apply a coat of thickening mascara on the top lashes only. Apply Second coat while first is wet, waiting for just a few seconds will dry it out and will clump it and get in your eye and that would NOT be comfortable.
Use a sharpened black eye liner to the inner corner of the eye and top. Use your pinky to steady your hand, by placing it on your cheek, just below the eye.
With your photo open in Photoshop, choose the lasso tool from your toolbar.
Draw a selection (marching ants) around one of the eyes. Be sure to include some of the surrounding skin.
Go to edit/copy, and then make a new layer (layer/new layer). Then paste your eye onto that new layer (edit/paste).
Lightly line the upper and lower lids from the inner corner to the outer corner with a soft brown or taupe eye liner. Apply the eyeliner a little heavier on the outside corners. Try: Naturistics Eye Stixx in Sable.
Apply another shadow a shade or two darker than the nude (we like Garden Botanika eye shadow in Kava) to your crease and use your finger to blend the color up toward your eyebrow.
Finish the look with two coats of black mascara. Try: Estée Lauder Futurist Lash-Extending Mascara.
Trim your eyebrows.
Eyebrows are the window frames to your eyes, which are the windows to your soul. So make sure that they are in good shape. If you have never plucked your eyebrows yourself before, go to a professional. Do NOT do it yourself without experience.
Get enough sleep / Reduce eyebags
Puffy eyes are small eyes. Quick tip: Use a tea bag over the eyes to reduce puffiness. And don’t drink too much water before you sleep to avoid water retention on the big day.
